Many people from all over the world want to boost biodiversity with their ideas: 317 proposals were submitted for the 4th edition of the Quarry Life Award.

To allow a fairer competition, this year the Edition 2018 has been split in two streams – The Scientific Stream and the Community Stream. We are delighted to see that the number of submitted projects in both streams are very well-balanced and participants took this opportunity to choose the best fitting category for their ideas.

By 1 December 2017 the Quarry Life Award juries of each national contest will select the projects that can enter the competition. All contestants will then be invited to carry on their project idea and research between January and September 2018. All selected projects will compete simultaneously at national and international levels.
