Seeding from the sky - The moment Restoration took flight

With the ground prepared and the drone calibrated, it was time to fly — and bring the land back to life.
Using the DJI Agras T40, we carried out the aerial seeding operation over our 35×35m site. The drone soared smoothly, releasing Acacia polyacantha seeds directly onto the earth bunds laid every 2 metres.
5 kg of seeds were dispersed in just 30 minutes
Each bund received exactly 20 seeds, ensuring uniform distribution
The drone hovered at different altitudes — testing how height affects germination
This wasn’t just fast — it was precision seeding at its best. No trampling of soil. No manual labor fatigue. Just seamless technology meeting ecological need.
Watching seeds rain down with purpose was a reminder: restoration can be smart, swift, and scalable.
