Ecosystem Restoration: Promoting Biodiversity in Reclaimed Bozalan Quarry

On August 14, together with our esteemed teachers and the students of the Çakabey High School Project Department, we set off early in the morning to participate in the QLA organization and present to the international jury at the Akçansa Cement Factory, located in the Bozalan quarry in Çanakkale. We were delighted to meet Klára Řehounková, who honored us as a jury member. Her warm demeanor, engaging presentations, keen attention to detail, in-depth knowledge, and constructive feedback won all our hearts. We sincerely thank our distinguished jury member for her unwavering interest and support both before and after the presentation. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Raw Materials Process Manager Mr. M. Erdem Erdem and the Akçansa staff for their warm hospitality and the support they provided to boost our students’ motivation during the presentation with our esteemed jury.
