Final Project Review
Project team meet at Mikoko Development Foundation Office to review the project achievement and determined milestone. The team had finally reviewed the project achievement to the stage that reached last week of August 2022.
A long term achievement and guarantee provided through the project activities and deliverables done to the community and Wazo Hill quarry at large that will continue impacting community around Dar es Salaam City and close areas to the Wazo Hill quarry site.
In the last week of August 2022, project team met to conduct final evaluation before preparation of final project report and found that 98.9% of the project performed and many stakeholders have been involved as planned.
Community members, now they are aware of what is taking place at Wazo Hill quarry site beyond extraction of limestone for cement production there is important work done by the industry of Tanzania Portland Cement (PLC) to manage biodiversity of the area and make sure rehablitation of quarry is well achieved and ecosystem is well maintained through the Project.
The project achieved to add value to the work done by TPC (PLC) with availability of digital content even after closing the project in which Mikoko Development Foundation team assured the team to continue supporting developing quarry digital contents in local language and same to TPC (PLC) they are ready and to collaborate.
