Installation of potential habitats for bats at the Safi-Quarry

“Safi Quarry Bats Project” Unsuspected cryptic bats biodiversity in the Safi quarry as a potential roost and foraging habitat; better understanding to better protection

Following passive surveillance that detected bats passing through the quarry, a mission was organized on August 11, 2025, to select locations for the nest boxes as potential bat habitats in the quarry.
We selected trees as habitats for the nest boxes (photos attached).
