Inventory of moths (Heteroceran lepidoptera) at the Baccon quarry

The variety of natural environments at the Baccon quarry is highly
favorable to invertebrates. Initial inventories indicate the presence of a
rich and varied entomological fauna in an impoverished environmental
context (intensive cereal farming). The Baccon quarry is a refuge for all
the entomological fauna in Beauce. These inventories will be carried out
on a case-by-case basis by entomologists. They will focus on moths.
Expected objectives: To improve and maintain the calcicolous grasslands
needed by the species concerned, and to improve knowledge of the
grassland species and habitats needed for management
