Scientific Communication: Presentations and Achievements

We are putting maximum effort into presenting the ideas and results of our project across various platforms and in diverse formats, including reports and presentations. Recently, we shared our findings during an internal meeting of the Quarry Life Award competition with opponents and jury members.

In addition to the events previously described in our blog, Maria Čížková gave a presentation on January 13, 2025, about our project’s objectives and ideas to the jury members and competition opponents at the start of the project.

One of the key moments was the presentation by PhD student Anastasia Kolomiiets on May 19, 2025, at a seminar at the University of South Bohemia, where she spoke about microalgae inhabiting the soil surface layer.

Additionally, part of our research was presented at an internal seminar at the Institute of Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Třeboň on August 15, 2025 — the report was prepared and delivered by Oksana Bren, a student at Melitopol State Pedagogical University named after Bohdan Khmelnytsky.

Thus, the popularization of our project continues, and we take pride in our achievements and active scientific communication.
