Field Survey Start (Axis 1)!

Our biodiversity survey last week at Ait Baha Quarry reveals a fauna well adapted to the arid environment of the Anti-Atlas. We recorded at least three endemic reptile species, including a notably dense population of Saurodactylus brosseti (see photo).

These insights are already guiding the design of targeted, low-cost ecological enhancements, tailored to the site's environmental context.

A promising step forward—combining science, sustainability, and local action
