Kickoff and First Meeting at Ait Baha Quarry – 6th Quarry Life Award (Morocco)

We are excited to officially launch our project “Biodiversity in Action: Protecting the Amphibians and Reptiles of the Ait Baha Quarries ” as part of the 6th Quarry Life Award.

On 15 May 2025, we held our first meeting with the Ait Baha quarry team and the national coordination committee, followed by a site visit. This was a valuable opportunity to explore the site's ecological potential and begin shaping a strong, collaborative partnership.

This marks a key milestone in our mission to protect local biodiversity and raise awareness through science, action, and community engagement.
