Friday 30th September sees the end of the six month research period in 69 HeidelbergCement quarries across 21 different countries. The participants have achieved some outstanding results and are currently writing their final reports to submit by the end of Friday.
The projects have ranged in theme and scope from using drones to map species in quarries, to educational stop-motion animation, to more traditional species-oriented research - there really is something for everyone!
With the participants busy writing their final reports, you can give them one final motivational boost! How? Simply log-in to the Quarry Life Award website (register first if you do not have an account) and give them a star rating out of five. Vote on as many projects as you like - but be sure to vote carefully as you can only vote on each project once.
You can find projects of interest to you by filtering by country, species type, habitats... But do so quickly, you only have until midnight (CEST) on Friday 30th September.
