This year's participants have now finished their research in the HeidelbergCement quarries and submitted their final project reports.
Whilst the hard-working researchers can now relax, the hard work starts for the juries who will evaluate the final submissions and overall success of each project. The final reports detail the projects' findings and will be read by the national juries for each of the 19 competitions in order to select the national prize winners. In addition, the international jury will read the final reports to select those projects deserving of international recognition.
The national prizes will be awarded at the different national competition award ceremonies in October and November. You'll have to wait a little longer, however, to find out who will win the illustrious international awards. These will be announced in December at the International Award Ceremony, this year to be held in Brussels.
