A group of Turkish students from Izmir wanted to enhance biodiversity in the nearby quarry. To realize this mission, they showed great effort and exemplary team spirit. The students used innovative methods such as vertical planting to enrich the quarry with local medicinal plants. Read more

Thanks to a QLA team, exploring nature while going for a walk is now possible in a former quarry in Great Britain. The project group put a lot of effort into building a self-guided biodiversity trail with interpretation panels, notice boards and benches. Read more
