With the thesis completed and published on DIVA, the thesis defense done and two of three site visits done for the Cementa plants in Sweden it is time to wrap up our QLA report. The past few weeks have been dedicated to synthesizing the results of the thesis, focusing on the guidelines that are most important for Heidelberg Cement Group. This has included investigating questions such as: How do the employees use the restoration guidelines? Is there a way to make implementation of our findings easier and faster? How can the sustainability principles be worded to better aid in the companies understanding of full sustainability? This time has also been used for looking at the benefits our approach gives to the company as a whole, including both in developed and developing countries. Its wide spread applicability is perhaps one of the most important features this approach gives.
