The contribution of this study is firstly, to identify the spontaneous useful trees mainly used by the rural populations in the quarry area to promote their reforestation. This, in order to maintain the social functions of these ecosystems known by the villagers.
Secondly, The study of recolonization dynamics aims to identify the trajectory of woody regeneration: if it is deviated or not from pre-existing vegetation. this, in order to identify the spontaneous species that can easily regenerate and those to be introduced necessarily for the enrichment of vegetation in rehabilitation.
Third, to sensitize local population to reforest native useful species in their vicinity.
