There are fears among local people of the loss of some useful species with landscape modification in quarries. The categories of useful plants whose populations fear the rarefaction / disappearance are medicinal plants (100 %), edible plants (85,53 %), religio-magic plants (59,23). the loss of this phytodiversity will undoubtedly be accompanied by the loss of knowledge that populations have of these plants. Indeed, the medicinal plants cited by all respondents (100%) show that these populations have a knowledge of the usefulness of plant formations and are dependent on them. Hence the need to include some medicinal trees in the reforestation program.
