Some twenty edible species have been identified. No species has reached a fidelity level (FL) of 50%. However, the decreasing of the trend curve shows that some species are more frequent than others rarer.
The most common are: M. indica, A. muricata, A. digitata (FL = 25 to 35%). They are followed by: P. guajava, M. olifera, V. doniana, S. monbin (FL = 15 to 25%) ...
It is necessary to include them in the reforestation program of the quarry for:
- enrich the specific diversity
- provide for agroforestry systems if the lands should be cultivated again.
Dialium guineense is the fruit species already reforested among the listed species. However, its citation rate is very low compared to some plants cited by local populations.
